Hosting
The website is hosted by Vercel. Technically necessary connection data, such as IP address, time, requested URL and browser information, is processed to deliver the website and protect it against abuse. Contact by email or telephone
When you contact us, we process your message and contact details to handle your request. Pre-contractual enquiries are based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR; other business enquiries on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. We retain the data as long as handling the request or legal retention obligations require.
External links and platform login
Links to the platform login and other websites open separate services. Their respective privacy notices apply. Clicking an email link opens your email application and does not send a message by itself.
Your rights
Subject to the legal requirements, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction and data portability. You may object to processing based on legitimate interests. You also have the right to complain to a data protection authority, in particular the North Rhine-Westphalia Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information.
Contact and demo forms
The forms prepare an email draft entirely in your browser. The website does not automatically transmit or store your entries. We receive your details to handle your enquiry only when you send the message from your email app. Optional fields may be left blank. The forms do not start a subscription or enrol you in marketing.
Recipients and collection methods
Connection data is transmitted automatically on page requests to Vercel Inc. and its hosting and security subprocessors. Email and phone communications transmit the contact, business and message information you provide to us and the service providers involved in the communication. Only people handling the enquiry within THE BARK receive access. Legally required disclosures may be made to authorities or to advisers for the protection of legal claims.
Retention and providing information
Connection data is retained under the periods applicable to the hosting and security functions used. Enquiry data is deleted when handling is complete and no statutory retention duty or protection of legal claims requires continued storage. Visiting the website does not require your name or contact details. Contact is voluntary; suitable reply details are needed to answer your enquiry.
International processing
THE BARK is established in Germany. Vercel Inc. is a US provider with international infrastructure; processing outside the EEA is possible. Vercel’s published data processing addendum describes EU standard contractual clauses for covered EEA transfers. You may request information and a copy of the safeguards applicable to your processing from us. These notices do not claim exclusive European storage or a representative in Türkiye.
Information for Türkiye
Where the KVKK applies, secure website delivery and abuse prevention must be assessed against Article 5(2)(f), directly contract-related enquiries against Article 5(2)(c), and legal obligations against Article 5(2)(ç). Consent is not a blanket substitute for that assessment. International transfers are additionally subject to Article 9 KVKK; EU standard contractual clauses alone do not establish its fulfilment.
